Year 4R OLC

Good evening, What a wonderful day we had at Discover Deadly!  We were so blessed with the fun and exciting activities that were on hand. We had the opportunity to touch a turtle and a snake, as well as watch both animals being fed. The lovely ladies at Discover Deadly, did a one off special, by feeding the salt water crocodile on it's wrong day. I was so appreciative of the extra time and care the presenters spent with the students to share their wealth of knowledge. I would like to thank Gemma Sorgiovanni, Sharonne Douglas and Michelle Kerr for giving up their time to share in this experience with us.  Below are some pictures of our brave little snake handlers: On another note, I will be away this Friday 14th September, as I will be attending a Friendology Summit in Perth. Good evening, Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Father's out there. I hope you have been waited upon and spoilt with love from your little cherubs! Congratulations to Zahra and Hannah on receiving a Merit Award last week. Both these young ladies are outstanding role models within our classroom. Here are a few updates for the week ahead, please note that the homework is slightly different for the following two weeks due to our Inquiry Project! ATHLETICS CARNIVAL & THROWS The students have their Athletics Throws on Wednesday at 10.20am. You are more than welcome to come and watch this event.  On Friday the Athletics Carnival will begin at 9.30am and finish approximately at 2pm.  You are more than welcome to take your child home at the end of the day, however you will need to print, sign and return the permission slip found in last week's newsletter before the end of the week.
