Photography Project - Digital Technologies
Photography Project - Digital Technologies
Mr Torrese
This week we have begun our Digital Technologies photography project.
The aim of the project is to:
1. Have Students explore digital systems in terms of their components, and peripheral devices, such as digital microscopes, cameras and interactive whiteboards. They collect, manipulate and interpret data, developing a capacity to use data and their representations to communicate ideas.
2. Enable the students to develop basic photography skills.
3. Become familiar with iPad and it's capabilities for allowing creativity.
4. Use the Class Notebook app (Office 365) to store and retrieve data.
I have given students many examples of quality photography (at their age level) and made explicit to them the photography skills as well as creativity.
The students have also had demonstrated to them the process for creating photo collage pages in Pic Collage and storing them in Class Notebook.
I am looking forward to seeing some creative and thoughtful work.
Thank you in advance for your support at home with the Feet, Faces, Furniture and Free Choice assignment.
