Good morning, Welcome to Year 6! I hope you all had a relaxing holiday enjoying the summer weather and making precious family memories. Whilst it has gone quickly, I am happy to be getting back into it and setting some routines to keep me on the straight and narrow. Words fail to express how lucky and privileged both Alison and I feel to be having this group of students again before they leave OLC. Since having them in 2018, I have seen some amazing maturity and growth take place (I thank Mr D and you wonderful parents for that). Good afternoon parents, I hope you had a fun filled weekend. Thank you to those who were able to attend the Mass on Saturday night, it was lovely to see the church filled with such reverence. Congratulations to Cielo who received the merit certificate for last week, her commitment and focus is soaring, being an outstanding role model for others to follow. Our second group of pen licenses went out on Thursday. We congratulate Imogen, Rose, Lily, Rhavi, Jaz, Skyla, Georgia, Priya, Holly and Cielo. I feel so lucky to have such supportive and caring parents who are so invested in their child's well-being. Thank you for being so receptive to my feedback and I hope that if anything arises over the year you feel comfortable in approaching me to have a chat. Congratulations to Holly Kerr for receiving our Merit Certificate last week. She is a kind and caring class mate who shows endless compassion for those around her. I'm sending a very big thank you for the delicious food provided for our shared recess on Friday. Harmony Day was such a fun day...the kids had a great time making friendship bracelets, learning about the different flags of the world and some of them had a chance to learn a Scottish jig! The children had a chance to reflect on...
