Week 4 Term 2

Good afternoon parents,

I hope you had a fun filled weekend. Thank you to those who were able to attend the Mass on Saturday night, it was lovely to see the church filled with such reverence.

Congratulations to Cielo who received the merit certificate for last week, her commitment and focus is soaring, being an outstanding role model for others to follow.

Our second group of pen licenses went out on Thursday. We congratulate Imogen, Rose, Lily, Rhavi, Jaz, Skyla, Georgia, Priya, Holly and Cielo. It is such a pleasure to see that the children are being mature with this new responsibility and taking great pride in their work. I am looking forward to presenting more on Thursday as there a couple of children I have spoken to and I can see they are trying hard.

Have you had your child show you their OneNote as yet? The students are using this program weekly in class. One of the things we want them to show you is there Diary page each week, please ask to see it. This way you will know what they need to do and what is coming up!

HOMEWORK - WEEK 4
Please see below for the homework assigned for this week. If you can please support your child to complete all parts of their homework each week. This helps with their personal organisation reduces anxiety of getting in trouble when it is not done.

2. Timetables Review 3, 4, 6, 7, 8's - The students are to practice at least 4 times throughout the week at home. We have planned to test this on Thursday in our Math's lesson. PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE PRACTICING!

3. Mental Maths- Complete Unit 13, p 26 & 27. This will be marked on Friday morning so please make sure your child brings their homework books on this day.
